• Is it free to list a book on Book Drop Central?

  Yes. Standard listings are free and permanent. Once your book is approved, it can remain listed on Book Drop Central unless you remove it or it is removed under our site policies.

• What is included with a free Standard listing?

  A free Standard listing is permanent and does not expire. It includes a full book page, inclusion in search and browse results, genre listings, retailer purchase links, wishlist availability, author dashboard access, retailer click statistics, and a FREE badge when applicable.

• Who can submit books to Book Drop Central?

  Book submissions may be made by independent or self-published authors, traditionally published authors, publishers, literary agents, publicists, or other authorized representatives. Anyone submitting a book must have permission to provide the book information, cover image, author information, retailer links, and other promotional materials associated with the listing. Unauthorized third-party submissions are not permitted.

• Does submitting a book guarantee it will be approved?

  No. All submissions are reviewed before publication. Book Drop Central may approve, reject, request changes to, or remove listings when necessary to enforce site policies.

• What are Featured and Premium promotions?

  Featured and Premium are optional paid upgrades that give an approved book additional visibility on Book Drop Central for 30 days. Your underlying Standard listing remains permanent after the paid promotion ends.

• Can I upgrade a book that is already listed?

  Yes. You can purchase a Featured or Premium promotion and apply the promotion credit to an existing Standard book from your Author Dashboard.

• Can I use a Featured or Premium promotion with a new book?

  Yes. After purchasing a promotion, you can use the credit with a new book submission instead of applying it to an existing Standard listing.

• When does the 30-day promotion begin?

  Your 30-day promotion begins when the Featured or Premium credit is applied to a book—either when you use it with a new book submission or when you apply it to an existing Standard listing.

• What happens when my Featured or Premium promotion ends?

  The paid promotional benefits end, but your book remains published as a free permanent Standard listing. You can purchase another promotion whenever you want additional exposure.

• Do I have to pay again to keep my book listed?

  No. Standard listings do not expire and do not require renewal fees. You only pay if you choose to purchase a Featured or Premium promotional upgrade.

• Does Book Drop Central offer discounts on Featured or Premium promotions?

  Yes. Book Drop Central may occasionally offer promotional pricing, discounts, or special offers on paid promotion packages.

• Can I submit more than one book?

  Yes. Authors may submit multiple eligible books. Each book receives its own listing and must go through the normal review process.

• Can I edit a book after it has been submitted?

  Authors can manage their books through their Author Dashboard. Some changes may require review before appearing publicly.

• Can I remove my book from Book Drop Central?

  Yes. Authors can request removal of their books. Removing a book may also end any active promotional placement associated with that listing. Any paid promotional credit time remaining is non-refundable.

• Does Book Drop Central sell books?

  No. Book Drop Central is a book discovery and promotional platform. Purchases, downloads, pricing, refunds, delivery, and other retailer transactions take place through third-party retailers.

• Does Book Drop Central display book prices?

  Book Drop Central does not publish retailer prices. Prices and availability can change, so readers should always verify the current price with the retailer.

• What does the FREE badge mean?

  The FREE badge indicates that the author has reported the book as currently free. Retailer pricing can change, so readers should still verify the current price before completing a purchase or download.

• Which retailers can authors link to?

  Authors can provide links to supported third-party retailers such as Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, and others where appropriate. Maximum number of retailer links are 6 links per book.

• Can authors submit affiliate links or tracking codes?

  No. Authors should submit normal retailer URLs without their own affiliate or referral tracking. Book Drop Central may remove tracking information from submitted links.

• Does Book Drop Central use affiliate links?

  Some retailer links may be affiliate links. Book Drop Central may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made after a reader follows an eligible link. This does not increase the price paid by the reader.

• What are retailer click statistics?

  Book Drop Central records outbound retailer clicks so authors can see how often readers are clicking from their listings to retailer websites. Click statistics are informational only and do not guarantee sales, downloads, reviews, or other results.

• Do Featured or Premium promotions guarantee sales?

  No. Paid promotions provide additional visibility and placement, but Book Drop Central cannot guarantee sales, downloads, rankings, reviews, clicks, or other specific results.

• How do I create an author account?

  Click Join Now and choose Author, or go directly to the Author Registration page from the For Authors dropdown in the main menu. Complete the registration form, and you’ll be taken to your Author Dashboard.

• How do I submit a book?

  Log in to your Author Dashboard and click Submit a Book. You can submit a book for a permanent free Standard listing, or use an available Featured or Premium promotion credit if you purchased one.

• Do readers need an account to browse books?

  No. Anyone can browse Book Drop Central. A free Reader Account is available for features such as saving books to a wishlist.

• How does the Book Drop Central newsletter work?

  Readers can subscribe to the Book Drop Central newsletter to discover books featured from across the site. Certain paid promotional packages may receive additional or priority newsletter exposure as described on the Pricing and Benefits pages.
